Content:Are you looking for background information on a budget management issue at the state or local level? Or would you like to keep up on the latest thinking in government financial management by joining a mailing list? These are two of the many resources FinanceNet provides. You'll find a topic board listing almost 20 topics, including treasury financial manuals, federal CFOs, decisions of the comptroller general, and the Government Printing Office (GPO) database. You can also access BudgetNet, a sister site, with information, discussion groups, and statistics about federal budgeting and financial management. The list of available information continues with finance, accounting, and audit resources; an events calendar; What's New, and an expansive library that enhances access to other governmental resources on the Web.

Most intriguing feature: If you're looking for government resources on financial issues, you'll be glad you found this site. Access every federal agency in the Federal Yellow Pages. Or search the Federal Acquisition Regulations, the US Code, and other federal regulations as well as databases.

Cautions about access: Because the home page for this site lists just about all of the site's resources, it involves a somewhat lengthy load time. However, once you're at the home page, the remaining links involve only moderate access times.
