Douglas Goldstein

He was the co-founder and vice president of Consumer Health Services, which sponsors the 1-800-DOCTORS health information service, during its growth from a concept to over $20 million. The author of five major books on the American healthcare system, he also is the co-author of The "Best of the Net" Online Guides, a five volume series of Internet directory and rating books published by Irwin Professional Publishing (a McGraw Hill Company) in 1996. Joyce Flory, Ph.D. is an experienced executive, trainer, and writer who serves as director of creative content for Alliances Interactive. With extensive experience in communications and marketing, Joyce served with the 20,000 member American College of Healthcare Executives as director of public affairs. The founder and editor of Healthcare Executive magazine and Hospital & Health Services Administration, she has just co-authored five directories on the Internet for Irwin Professional Publishing. Joyce has lectured and written extensively about consumer health issues and has been an author and consultant to leading national health organizations and associations, including Modern Healthcare magazine, Lamalie Amrop, and the American Association of Healthcare Consultants. Most recently, Joyce has been involved in developing the editorial content for ExpressMale, Medical Source, A Woman's Way to Health, The Open Door and Health Cycle, and other interactive programming as well as marketing plans and communication materials.
